The one thing that may hold you back is resistance or aversion to the painful thoughts and feelings you are experiencing. Every time you try to avoid or suppress suffering by distraction, quick fixes or mere positive affirmations, you postpone your next step forward. So instead, lean in, and say hallo to this difficult chapter in your life. It will bring you many treasures
It is highly recommended to get a new journal while dealing with your difficult loss. According to Progoff and Hills, journaling helps with grief and loss. “You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you are.”
